she first encountered through UJA’s Observership program. From her initial involvement to the present, she has been continually inspired by the agency’s passionate, resilient, and innovative work, and remains in awe of its impact and vision. Since officially joining the board in 2023, Hillary has immersed herself in the organization by joining the Advancement, Governance, and Marketing committees and various task forces. She has had the privilege of traveling to Israel with educators and co-leading a Torah learning series for her peers. Deeply committed to Tikkun Olam, Hillary feels a strong connection to The Jewish Education Project, which aligns with the values instilled in her by her family. She believes in the transformative power of education and its profound impact on communities.
Hillary is committed to her additional philanthropic work. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of Commonpoint and an active participant in UJA-Federation of New York and the Jewish and Philanthropic community in Los Angeles. She is involved with her alma mater, Colgate University, mentoring and advising current students and recent graduates. Hillary is a member of the Builders Society, a grassroots organization formed by tech leaders in the diaspora following October 7th, and was part of the first volunteer effort to rebuild and revitalize kibbutzim in Israel.
Professionally, Hillary brings over a decade of experience in advertising and marketing at leading media agencies in New York and Los Angeles, including Omnicom Media Group and Exverus by Brainlabs. In her current role as VP of Performance Marketing, she is a trusted partner to both challenger and established brands, strategically driving growth at the intersection of culture, creativity, and technology.

In the words of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks z”l:
“Teachers open our eyes to the world. They give us curiosity and confidence. They teach us to ask questions. They connect us to our past and future. They’re the guardians of our social heritage… They are the people who really shape our life.”
(From Optimism to Hope p. 132)
Congratulations to Rick and Hillary, whose commitment to our Agency and to Jewish education helps ensure the very future of the Jewish people.
And to Martine, whose abiding leadership in thought, guidance, and generous support empowers Jewish educators to inspire children to live knowledgeable and proud Jewish lives, now and far into the future.
